From Elvis Presley to Princess Diana, iconic funerals are often
marked by massive crowds, celebrity mourners and gut-wrenching
emotion - and Michael Jackson's memorial will be no different.
More than one million people are expected to pay homage to the
King of Pop at his funeral, an event which could dwarf the
memorial services held for Presley in 1977 and Diana 20 years
later, experts say. Plans for Jackson's memorial began to filter
out Tuesday, with reports saying the tragic icon would make a
poignant return by motorcade to his Neverland fantasy ranch on
Thursday. A public viewing of Jackson's body is planned for
Friday before private services for his family take place at the

It is my belief that Michael would help anyone who approached him and because of this spirit he would be and was taken advantage of throughout his lifetime. I am Michael's age and have never been a screemer for any performer but this world will seem so much more empty without his music but most of all without Michael. I wish Michael knew how much his own people loved him as an individual and that very few felt he'd wronged anyone. Michael perform well for your King....God has finally given you peace now sore. Love an unknowned friend.

I million ! Sure some might have been put off by police warnings to stay away but that would have still amounted to a few hundred thousand out of the 1 million to have turned up. I think the figure who turned up without tickets was numbered at 600. So much for the media hype about dwarfing Elvis or Princess Diana funeral!
